Diagnose a no-power laptop, replace a DC jack and a RAM slot, then assemble and boot a desktop from loose parts with correct cable management.

- Trinocular microscope with camera
- Hot air station and soldering iron
- Preheater, DC power supply, multimeter
- Donor board, test display and battery
- Solder balls, flux, wick, IPA and wipes
Bring if you prefer
- Your own tweezers, blades and stencils
- Your preferred flux and solder paste
- Hot air nozzles that fit a standard 858D handle

- Pre-balled processors or your own boards
- Phones or help from the audience
